NCMX Executive Officers, Directors, and Management
Brian M. Beggs, President and Director
Mr. Beggs joined NCMX in 2000. He brings over 30 years of
broad-based financial, administrative and general management experience to
the NCMX management team. His professional career includes experience in a
wide variety of industries including semiconductor and integrated circuit
manufacturing, processed food manufacturing, professional sports, and real
estate development. He has served as a Chief Financial Officer for over 20
years. He also has several years of senior management experience in
corporate administration, including overseeing Information Systems. His
community service involvement includes several years on the board of
Junior Achievement. Mr. Beggs has an undergraduate degree from Whitman
College, as well as a Masters of Business Administration degree from Santa
Clara University.
Andrew R. Farthing, Chief Operating Officer
Mr. Farthing joined NCMX in 1999. He has over 30 years of information technology,
business management, and consulting services experience. His expertise in deploying
enterprise-wide solutions in large corporate environments has employed delivery
processes spanning enterprise architecture through to localized system selection
and implementation. As a senior leader with Premera Blue Cross, PriceWaterhouseCoopers,
EDS, and BOC DataSolve, Ltd., he has successfully fulfilled the roles of
Client Services and IT Director, Global Implementation Manager, Program Manager,
and Systems Development Manager. Mr. Farthing has an in-depth understanding of
all aspects of information technology delivery across a broad spectrum of
business and industry.
Clark P. Graves, Chief Technology Officer
Mr. Graves has more than 22 years experience in software
design and IT management. As Chief Information Officer, he helped grow
Contractors Bonding and Insurance Company (CBIC) from a small provider of surety
bonds to a nationally significant, highly regarded, A-rated insurance
company. During Mr. Graves tenure at CBIC, A.M. Best Company
recognized CBIC as having "advanced system capability". He has
also held positions as VP/Engineering for two Northwest-based
companies, ProjectGuides, Inc. and Onvia, Inc. Mr. Graves is a graduate
of the University of Missouri - Columbia.
Joseph R. Strain, Vice President Business
Development
Mr. Strain joined NCMX in 2001. He has 26 years of business sales and marketing experience
interacting with technology executives across the country. Prior to joining NCMX, he was the managing
partner of LightningRod,LLC an executive search firm specializing in the technology community. His
background also includes two years with PricewaterhouseCoopers managing the human resources and
management search functions for the Northwest technical consulting practice. Joe also was a member
of the Microsoft Strategic Recruiting Group, the Microsoft Strike Team, and Microsoft's
prestigious Global Recruiting and Intelligence team. He has a BA Degree in English, and holds
the designation of Certified Personnel Consultant - CPC.
Elwood D. Howse, Jr., Director
Mr. Howse is a founder of Cable & Howse Ventures, a technology-focused,
early-stage-oriented venture capital firm. Cable & Howse Ventures was the
first professionally managed, institutionally funded venture capital company
in Seattle. He is a graduate of Stanford University with a Bachelor of
Science degree in engineering and a Masters degree in Business
Administration. Mr. Howse is currently a director of Applied Microsystems, Inc.
(APMC), ImageX.com, Inc., ITM Corporation, OrthoLogic Corp (OLGC), and
Tegris Corporation.
Pete C. Rosvall, Director
Mr. Rosvall founded Credit Control Corporation, the predecessor of The
Continental Alliance, in 1980. In 1996, The Continental Alliance merged with two other companies, creating
Outsourcing Solutions, Inc. Mr. Rosvall remained President of The
Continental Alliance and also assumed the role of Executive Vice President
and Chief Information Officer of Outsourcing Solutions, Inc., currently
the largest firm of its type in the country. He has served on boards
related to the receivables management industry, as well as
community-oriented boards including Bellevue Community College and the
Kirkland Performing Arts Center. Currently he sits on the Advisory Board
for the Coldstream Merchant Fund II. Mr. Rosvall is a graduate of
Washington State University.
Michael D. Towers, Director
Mr. Towers is a retired Executive Vice President of Washington Mutual
Financial Group. He was responsible for all Washington Mutual retail
branches, Trust Department, Telemarketing Department, Securities Brokerage
Company, and the Mutual Fund Company. He is a graduate of the University of
Nebraska, did post-graduate studies at Wichita State University, and holds a
Master of Arts from Eastern Oregon College. Mr. Towers is involved in
numerous community activities, is on the Board of Junior Achievement of
Greater Puget Sound, and is a Director of Duckhorn Winery in California.
